I have made many mistakes in my life, some worse than others, but I always remember that each mistake I make I learn and grow from. Especially the mistakes Ive made that pushed people away. But I have also learned that if you can push a friend away from one small mistake so easily than they are not your true friends to begin with. The road to independence has proven to be a tough journey. I still reside with my Mom but am pushing myself everyday to go into the world on my own and succeed at whatever I put my mind to. It helps that my Mom is so hard on me and pushes me to do things on my own everyday. My Mom may help a lot by pushing and sometimes...nagging, but it is also my motivation for wanting so badly to fulfill my passion and succeed at being an independent woman. Im lucky to already know what direction I want to go in life and what I want to do. There are so many people my age that are still figuring that out. I just hope everything works out for me and I dont end up a bum on the street. My gut says everything will be fine. But in my head Im always worrying it wont work out because I know how hard it is in the industry Im going into. If I do make it I dont think it will be luck or good timing like a lot of actors have had. I will be one of those that worked hard and had a lot of hard work and determination. I really admire Jessica Chastain because she didnt get big through luck or good timing. She worked really hard since she was young and finally made it in her mid thirties. I really appreciate the speech she made at the Golden Globes about 2 years ago.
