I have many friends on facebook, some are religious and others are not. I would like to say this clearly and so that you understand me and who I am. I believe we all have our own paths and journeys in life. Some of us will find a God, by the name that your journey introduces that being, and others of us will find that our journey doesnt include a higher power at all. Well, who is right and who is wrong... Perhaps that is not for you to decide as a mortal human. We are different and the same but you must be a respecter of persons more than someone that will tear someone down for not believing or living as you see fit. My personal background is Christian, and that is how I was raised. I have studied up on a few hundred doctrines and the history of the faith. My family is mainly Jewish on my mothers side. I did many of the steps to a conversion to Orthodox Judaism at one point in my life. My personal belief? Is not within your buildings of four walls and is not ordained by the state representing a higher power but more so my belief is mine and so your belief is yours. Your faith doesnt dictate my life and yet you are free to believe as you wish and my faith or lack there of doesnt make or hold you captive either. We are free spirits, to choose, to live, to coexist. Just remember that no matter what this life is a journey and my beliefs will never dictate our friendship based on any opinions of how to my faith you might be right or wrong. xo
