I have met Nripendra Mishra myself. He is a good person, a straight forward guy and honest bureaucrat. So I am happy that he is being appointed at Principal Secretary to PM. Having said that I dont agree with this tweaking the law by BJP now and Congress earlier to suit their needs. BJP says that they are trying to make law same for all regulatory authorities. Why was BJP sleeping and voted for this wrong when Congress made this wrong ? Congress says they made this variation to prevent the bureaucrats of TRAI from eyeing for lush posts with private telecom companies after their regulatory days. Why did Congress not make same law to prevent bureaucrats of IRDA, PFRDA and others regulatory authorities from eyeing lush posts with private companies in insurance, pension and other sectors ? Is it that money involved in other sectors is far smaller than in telecom sector ? Is it that telecom sector private companies bribe far more than their counterparts in insurance, pension, mutual funds, banks, financial services and other sector ? Why is BJP not making a law that prevents such wrong law making from happen in future ? Why is BJP not saying that they will stop sleeping when they are in opposition in future and ensure correct law making in interest of India ? Why is BJP not saying that in future, they will not make laws only for their interests as well as they will not let other political parties make laws that are in interest of those political parties ?
