I have much deeper empathy for those who face life-threatening - TopicsExpress

I have much deeper empathy for those who face life-threatening disease (or more specifically - whose spouses face it). Lynne has been diagnosed with a blood disorder (Myeloproliferative disorder) that could have been linked to serious cancer. We had to wait several days that seemed like a lifetime before learning that the C word is not likely our reality. There are still more tests to determine the causes. It is likely caused by a genetic mutation. So I now have a mutant ninja wife! While we are still looking for causes, the worst among the possibilities have been ruled out. We already know Lynne will spend the rest of her life treating a disorder that has any number of complications. More work to do to get more clarity about what those complications will be. Prayers appreciated!!! umm.edu/health/medical/altmed/condition/myeloproliferative-disorders
