I have my 7 month old mini pig, Penelope (Penny), that is not - TopicsExpress

I have my 7 month old mini pig, Penelope (Penny), that is not working out for us. We were supposed to be moving on to acreage down south and I jumped the gun when I adopted her. I am not sure when that will be happening now, but certainly not while winter is approaching. She is sweet, is good with the kids, and is my labs best friend, but she is not an indoor pet. At least not if you dont have the time to train her to be. She knocks things over and will eat anything she can. She is not fixed and has started marking the house when she is in a cycle. For this reason I keep her in the kitchen or outside. She should be outside in a place where she can be warm for the most part. It is where she is happiest, as that is a pigs nature. I want to find her a good home. I am asking a $175 rehoming fee (I paid a lot more than that) so I can get serious inquiries only. Please research having a pig before messaging me. No impulse buys, please. It is not fair to her or you.
