I have never been a supporter of Mr. Michel Martelly during his presidential campaign. Truthfully speaking, my position has never been changed because I have my personal reason for being unsupportive to him. However, I have the courage to say Michel Martelly inspired me through his songs. I always loved his music and I participated in one of his music festivals, which was 1991. Indeed, he did incredible things in Haitian Compas. He became a well-respected Haitian compass artist in his music career. Today, I would like to congratulate his administration for doing many positive things in my homeland. In reality, he could do more if the opposition party gave him the opportunity to continue building stronger infrastructures in Haiti and improving the Haitian economy. Unfortunately, Haiti is in big trouble with many congressmen and senators who are committed to blocking the country forever. Those congressmen and senators have no mercy on Haitians who are living in the country. They are selfish, uncompassionate and they have no vision for Haiti. They have no objectives to accomplish something positive for their homeland. They have no intention of releasing Haiti from hostage. Instead, they prefer to conspire to lead the country to deeper darkness. I understand why they choose block the process of democracy in Haiti. They know, if they agree to help find a solution to political and economic crises of the country, they will be unable to continue using the wealth of Haiti to send their mistresses to foreign countries to have some good times, buying expensive vehicles for their children, purchasing beautiful houses for their wives and providing financial assistance to their family members. If no one can stop those congressmen and senators from irritating the Haitian people, the Lord will find something for them to do. Indeed, God has the power to bring down anyone who causes His children to suffer. -Peterson Francois
