I have never been in love before but I thought I had been in love many times (this is sort of embarrassing, please be nice to me). It was just lust talking loud and boastful like she be. What an awesome revelation! I realize now that love seeks to heal and I have not been that faithful to that high calling of love to the fullest extent that I could be. But now I am and it feels good yall (that’s my Texas drawl). I know for sure love is everything to me. I just needed to be sure of what love is and how to express it and what it means. Love is like this immutable unconquenchable force of beautifulness that is magnificent and magnifies your strengths instead of your weaknesses. Love is the highest calling in life. So I proposed to myself (of course that doesn’t take the place of my man) to learn how to love to the fullest and I know that I am waiting to express this love romantically in a big big way that I can’t even explain. It’s like a fire burning in my bones but all the time leaving me alone to relish in the simplicity of what I see love to be. Silence and dignity call me now that’s why I am waiting. What do you think about love? I won’t push and shove. Tell me please.
