I have never been so humbled as I was today for the outpouring of love by my church family to Kathleen and myself. The reception and all the work that was put forth by my Elders and a staff of wonderful ladies is far above anything imaginable. The food, the plaque and especially the host of friends who came by was one of the dearest things we have experienced. This church has been our home for 64 years and the only place we ever desired to be. I was impressed by the theme of building and the props used to highlight that part of life. As Christians we are builders. Christ laid the cornerstone but we are to carry on what he prepared each of us to do in building his kingdom on earth. Again, the years I served in leadership with this church has blessed me and my family far more than words can describe. So, thank you for this day of honor and we want to express our sincerest love to each and everyone of you. We love you and God Bless you all!
