I have never really been a huge Taylor Swift fan but I LOVE this song and video! Google the lyrics because they will give you an amazing shot of BAM! I have learned that ANYTIME you REALLY put yourself out there with anything AMAZING you are doing or working towards, there are GOING to be people who are just nasty HATERS and its PART of the deal......BUT most of the world will LOVE you and SUPPORT you! Unfortunately too many people get bogged down with the minority of people who are miserable that will inevitably displace that misery onto others. When you happen to get caught in the crossfires of these misery merchant do not allow it to affect you! SHAKE IT OFF! The fact that these people are showing up means you are MAKING AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN! Have you ever known a great leader, celebrity, elite athlete or a mover and a shaker that EVERY SINGLE PERSON LIKED?!? Of course not! There are people who are haters towards Mother Teresa! A bartender/friend once said something very profound to me and I will never forget it. There was a very crowded bar and I was watching him handle all the people yelling at him and waving their dollar bills to get his attention. There were people yelling at him that he was too slow or that he was ignoring them. The poor guy was just getting heavily razzed by the crowd. He seemed completely calm and unfazed by some of the rude people and only concentrated on the people who were patiently waiting. I later asked him how he handled that night after night and did it upset him that people would treat him like that. He said, you cant please all of the people all of the time. How profound is THAT! He knew that he would never be able to please those mean people so he pretended they are not there and only concentrated on the GOOD ones. The following is proven statistics on the fact that you WILL have haters. You might not even know that you do, but EVERYONE has them so SHAKE IT OFF and expect these people to cross your path: 25% of people you meet: will never like you 25% of people you meet: wont like you, but could be persuaded to 25% of people you meet: will like you but could be persuaded not to 25% of people you meet: will like you and always be there Dont waste your time trying to get people to like you or not doing what YOU like to do for fear of ridicule or non-acceptance. Live YOUR life and dont worry about what others think! Focus on your top 25! Remove that unnecessary stress from your life!
