I have never really been one who gets all befuddled around Christmas. Maybe its the fact that I hate shopping, or that I cant tolerate crowds and rude, pushy, loud, and entitled people who get worse the closer we get to the Holiday. This year, with all the positive changes coming our way, it is a little more bittersweet. I want nothing more than to call up my mom and share my joy about my new job and everything that has been going on....Christmas was her favorite time of year. When the tree was up, decorated and lit, her eyes would twinkle just like the lights. I miss her so much. She was my best friend. The one I could call for anything. Even when she was at the end of her journey, we still talked every day....well, I talked, shed listen, but she was there. Heres hoping I can find some of that Christmas spirit. Missing you Mom!
