I have never shown any of my client body composition results, but today I was asked to share these results to help raise the awareness of body composition, as opposed to just looking at losing weight. I met with my old school friend Adam Jones who I havent seen in years and we went for lunch down at the new Fludgers in Felixstowe. While on this topic, Id say 9/10 for food and 6/10 for service if anyone is interested in going there. Despite the not so great service I would still recommend it for its food and location. I do not get paid for this bit of network marketing by the way :) Anyway, Adam is a Chef who is looking to lose weight with the support of his work colleagues, over 14 weeks by eating healthy and doing more exercise. He wanted to know what his body fat percentage was and so I ran him through a quick wellness evaluation. Attached are his results that he wanted to share. (dont worry other customers, I wont share anyone elses without your consent). You can see water %, muscle %, body fat %, weight and BMI on the dials, and also see bone mass, BMR and AMR which are important factors to consider when looking to lose weight but stay healthy and have energy. I have also entered his age, height, gender and activity level into my software. In simple terms, I have learnt that to lose weight, most people take their AMR -500, without dropping below 1200. So for Adam as an example, his AMR is 3284. So for him to lose weight, without counting calories but baring them in mind, he would need to consume about 2800 calories a day. He should lose weight and most importantly feel more energy and look healthy. Over time his BMR and AMR may change whilst his body changes and so it is important to have a wellness evaluation ideally weekly or every 2 weeks if losing weight, or if not possible at least monthly. A cool app that helps you plan your daily nutritional requirement, Im going to stop using it soon because Ive found by using Herbalife alongside my current diet, I get very good balanced nutrition anyway, so the app to me is not worth the time, but may be a great tool for you should you need it.
