I have never understood the need and pressure on people with Muslim identity to apologise for any crime committed by anyone with a Muslim name. It is amusing the way someone like Tariq Ramadan apologising to Amy Goodman ; Look, first, we have to condemn what has been done and what’s happening in Paris. That’s not—you know, when we are told that what they said is that the prophet of Islam has—it’s a revenge, and this is the way—no, this is just a pure betrayal of our religion and our principles. With all due respect to the tremendous work that Amy Goodman has done, a question to her - has she ever apologised as an American Citizen for continuing crimes of her regime (she has of course condemned and exposed some of the best stories)?
