I have never understood this thing that people do in NoVA when its going to snow and they flip up their windshield wipers the night before. I grew up in Buffalo and we never did that. I still dont do it, and Ive never had a problem with my wipers after a snowfall. I just went to look out the window to see if it had snowed since last night (there was no snow when I went to bed) and someone has flipped up the windshield wipers on my car. I dont know any of my neighbors, so I cant imagine who would have done that. Who does something like that to a strangers car? Odd........
