I have no doubt there are people who are looking to push what we believe is an evil intent, however I believe the many have been tainted by the few. These raids were the biggest media stage I have seen for ages.....the consequences for Muslims who follow their religion in a pure sense, and not perverted by mans interpretation of it have been, and will continue to be, very damaged by this action. What is going on? Are we under threat from terrorism at every corner? Or are we creating a situation where a minority group of immigrants are going to be targeted by bigoted ugly Australians because they are identifiable? Mostly women...as they were the hijab to show their love of Islam. This hysteria is going to cause death and injury in this country....and justify every action the government has taken. I for one, am NOT buying it. NOT IN MY NAME....... This is an excellent article - too many thought-provoking (for those who may still be sleeping) points to highlight, but I had to pull these two for those of you who wont read the text: 1. If a little scepticism was applied, questions would be asked as to why we had this sudden splash of commando bombast when this particular group in Sydney had been under surveillance since May. Suddenly it is crystallised into the need for immediate action – no questions asked. 2.
