I have no idea of Robin Williams eternal destination. It is neither my job nor right to assume or pretend to know or to assess his spiritual condition. What I assume is this: whatever thoughts or feelings he had been dealing with, at times torturously, were of such weight for him that death and its finality appeared as a less painful option. Though saddened by his choice, Im more saddened by the fact he felt so alone that he had only this way out. I have caught myself saying recently that someone needs/needed to know Jesus. It is my hope that he did. This video brought tears because it shows his respect for the military, an awareness - even in the midst of his creativity - for their traditions, and an ability to be second. Be aware they edited it for language, but a word or two may have slipped through.
