I have no idea where my Spanish teacher Mrs Young is I have to tell her Thank you. Thank You for teaching me how to speak write and read in Spanish. Thank you for introducing me to being an exchange student. I lived in Spain in High school and ended up living with a Basque Politician family. They intern taught me how to speak Basque took me to their homes in Spain and France. Their daughter let me know that most people in Europe learn to Speak at least 3 languages. I thought I was doing something because I spoke Spanish. Ha! Who knew that me watching an episode of the Cosby show watching Claire Huxtable speaking Spanish would spark me to want to learn Spanish and a few more languages. Bill Cosby increased COLLEGE EDUCATION IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE. IM FOR EVER GRATEFUL FOR HIS BOLDNESS TO GO AGAINST THE GRAIN OF LIES OF NEGATIVE IMAGES OF AFRICAN AMERICAN FAMILIES. HE TOOK DIVERSITY TO ANOTHER LEVEL. Now back to Mrs Young my teacher. In a small farm Town in the middle of the Cornfields. Where its known for buying produce from your local farmers on the side of the road. The smell of really fresh Apple cider. Where people know you and ask how you are. Cause they really want to know. Well Mrs. YOUNG WHERE EVER YOU ARE THANK YOU FOR POURING INTO MY LIFE. OPENING UP MY WORLD. GIVING ME A SKILL THAT I CAN UTILIZE DAILY. I have had some amazing jobs based on this skill and this next one is pretty exciting. Thank you for taking the time to channel my energy in a positive and powerful direction!!!!!! TEACHERS MAKE LEADERS TRAILBLAZERS TRENDSETTERS AND WORLD CHANGERS! TEACHERS YOU MAKE US WHO WE ARE THANK YOU! YOU MATTER! WE NEED YOU! ♡
