I have no problem readily admitting that my family is totally right to be afraid whenever they see me with tools. It often costs me more to repair what I attempted to repair though it does not always stop me from trying …LOL. I am no way even close to my brother Spanky who can build or repair just about anything. He got all the “Home Improvement” genes :-) Definitely was a bad time to lose my car keys for my Infiniti I-30 as they are picking up the vehicle as it has been totaled after someone ran after hitting it in front of the house. The biggest problem was I had much to get out of the trunk including sensitive work documents. I must of also somehow activated the valet switch because the electronic switch would not open it either. The universe was improperly aligned :-) I had earlier had a locksmith make a key but after it worked initially it no longer would. Rather than fight with them I went to the dealer got the code and gave it to a different locksmith and that key which I fully expected to work also did not work last night. So I went about getting in through the pass through and by removing the back seat though even that removal did not allow me full access to the trunk. With my son Sean’s help and his longer arm reach I was able to retrieve at least the essentials from the trunk. Relatively simple actions but now it looks like I have been through a major battle and the anticoagulant I take has not helped :-). I had a couple cuts including on my finger tip and the cuts would just not stop bleeding. I have bruises all over my arms from manipulating to reach things in the trunk. I know my brothers and sisters taking similar meds know what a pain this is. It is a bit embarrassing to have to tell people who ask that my obvious injuries are from getting into my car trunk …LOL.
