I have no problem with a little help when you are inbetween jobs/without a paycheck for a month or so... BUT the cradle to the grave concept has been repeated too many generations. And talking to THEM,..... they think EVERYONE is on Foodstamps/assistance! Not us. But seriously, I dont see how young couples with a child and on minimum wage live these days; insurance/rent/mortgage/food/gas/other necessities. I can honestly say that once when My daughter was very young and I was getting no child support from her father, we were getting assistance for awhile, until I got a decent job AND sewed on the side til midnight !
