I have no problem with large companies making a profit. But how much is enough for them. County Assessors around the state fight every year to protect the public school funding from companies with a hoard of lawyers chipping away at their tax obligation. Invariably after we had to swallow another defeat in the battle at the capitol I would see a front page article or photo in the local paper about the same company "donating" a thousand dollars to the schools for something. Makes me sad.
