I have no problem with recycling, but here are my conditions and reasons: I will put recyclable items in the recycling bin and I will place that to the road on a bi-weekly basis. I may quickly rinse them, but I will not spend much water or time to wash them. I will not bundle or organize my recyclables. The recycling company profits from my trash, which, for the good of humanity and the environment, I am happy to provide them in order for their venture to profit. Its also likely that my property taxes pay for the service, in which case to spend too much time sorting or washing would be another investment of time and money on my part, albeit voluntary.
