I have no sympathy for the democrats who ran away from the Presidents record on the economy and embraced republican talking points like war on coal. 2nd amendment rights etc....the difference between democrat and republican in WV has been narrowed and in the end there isnt much difference..they are all pro big coal, pro big oil and gas, no talk of environmental goals or objectives for clean air and water, they were completely anti-obama even running commercials to state the same, they were anti-affordable care act(at least publicly), pro second amendment(even way farther right than Joe Manchin) as each one of them has to be seen in hunting gear or shooting a gun...what do they expect from lifelong loyal democrats etc turnout when all the democratic candidates are running scared from the President and distancing themselves from the National Democratic platform that helped lead our country out of the Great Recession. Personally, I like the decisions the president made at very difficult times in our nations history like getting us out of two wars and getting our economy moving again, so I found all this anti-obama talk from Loyal democrats to be disheartening and not good talking points to rally their base. It seems the voters didnt think they were sincere either.
