I have not commented too much the last few days because I have been a major grumpy (fill-in-the-blank)...I knew if I got started on a subject that pushes my buttons I would go off big time. So for now, I have decided to scroll past those posts (mostly) but will be back. I have tried for the past couple of days to eat some very low carbs. They do not fill you up and that could be a major reason for my grumpiness.. I am Hangry!!! The other part of this is that I am trying to get MY immediate family to respond to an e-mail I have now sent to them TWICE concerning the upcoming holidays. NO RESPONSES.....I love my family with all my heart, but I can not keep laying this guilt trip on myself that I wasnt the best Mother I could be. I tried!!!!!!! I am still trying. God only knows how my Mother handled 9 of us by herself. She used to drink beer when we were younger and later in life she apologized to me that she did that rather than buy stuff we needed. I told her never to apologize to me for that. Hell, I would have drank myself (just not beer) if I had to raise 9 children. However, I think my Mama did a good job. None of us landed in jail (considering where we came from) and were not killed in our youth...So I hope my Mama is somewhere tonight watching her remaining children and that she is proud of us...I know I am proud of mine and I am proud of my Mama for being the strong and determined woman that she was.
