I have not compartmentalized life into preformatted roles, but have experimented with different creative media and work at different roles –journalist, couturier, art consultant, craft activist , brand consultant and believe in multitasking and celebrating every second of life. As an author & columnist I write on Art, Lifestyle, Interiors & Fashion for Newspapers and Magazines. I have written three books on saving Indian traditional craft & assisted TV 5 to produce programmes in India, with content and networking. As a Craft Activist I work to save traditional Indian Crafts and have orchestrated three auctions to save the dying crafts of our country from becoming extinct. My life is a story of a dream, a particular journey – where I have savored the ups and the downs but most of all –the spirit within that ‘the show must go on’. That to me is the philosophy of my life. I am not the quintessential ‘Superstar’ but someone who encapsulates the joie de vivre of life inspite & despite the rapids. Aside from successes, I have learnt from my losses, matured through my tragedies, cocked a snook at the occasional failure and came out somewhat a champion!
