I have not mentioned my favourite subject in a long time. religion. I personally have nothing against someone believing in a God, I understand why people from places that are poor and underdeveloped wanting to believe that there is a reason for being on this planet. but why would an educated person living in reasonable wealth want to believe, I guess it gives some a reason to carry on. but just think for as minute if there is a God why, has the vast amount of death occurred in history all been in the name of God. there asre people like me, Im not smart, but im not stupid. and I just cannot, wrong way, there are people like me who know there is no entity watching over the world with a plan. If there was he needs to sort his house out first, I am not a scholar on religion, but from the little I know, it seems to change to agre with the thinking of the age in which you live. the bible is the one true word of god, but how many inturprtation of that book have there been. women cannot be priests, jump forward a few years it is illegal to say women cannot be so ok lets ordain women. was the bible incorrect, it must have been. that is just one example just think for a minute how manby more there are, the original bible has no meaning in this age so how can God still rule the lives of so many people. as I said people need to believe I know this, it gives them false hope when they need a little help, it is not God that helps people they help themselves, they think God will help and they get up and help others in the believe God will like this and help them, when really it is just being a good person reaps its own rewards, nothing at all to do with God. so when I read on here please pray for xxxx he is not well, prayer is not what he needs, someone somewhere will reach out and offer the help he needs. if you believe it was your prayers that helped this to happen ok fine you feel good about yourself, but do not praise an entity that does not exist. you are much better thinking about how to help that person in need, pass the word xxxx is suffering from ????? does any one know someone who know someone that could help. Sorry that has gone on a lot longer than I planed. DO NOT PIN ALL YOUR HOPES ON GOD. HE DOES NOT EXIST. Sorry folks its a fact. have fun.
