I have not written an open letter as yet, so heres rectification, in case asked. Dear PM SirJi, Why asking only Secretaries which laws to change, why not people, common man waalaa citizen on road? Myself included, so here are, briefly, my 10. (TOI blog will follows). So, please remove all these laws, why wait for sctry Sahib to send long list which will probably be more about 7th Pay Commission and length of official car and quality of white hand towel and important matters like which b7ungalow which sofa? This is for and from people who are in the sun and rain and road and train. Please remove all useless laws wrt:- 1) All laws wrt VIP/VVIP parking reservations to be thrown out, preferably with VIP/VVIPs. 2) All laws wrt tax cases where total dues are below 25000 rupees to be not criminal and to be settled in civil manner, pun intended. 3) All laws about why govt offices with public dealing to not work on Sundays to be removed, and make like railway booking, Sundays Holidays included. For example-RTO, Passport office, OPD Government Hospitals. 4) All laws on exemption from paying tolls to anybody other than emergency/rescue vehicles, please let and make everybody pay, they can claim from office if on official business (which mostly they are not, so) 5) All laws that prevent stage carriage buses from best access to railway stations and airports, this is important, 90%+ passengers make connection bus to train but walk longest distance through terrible conditions. 6) All laws about coastal and inland navigation shipping training only in English, as a result, traditional fishing community loses out, we can always teach them English side-by-side. 7) All laws preventing photography in non-sensitive public authority/govt locations, is very important, this will help making toilets cleaner, nobody wants to see more shit on social media. 8) All laws about permit fees on public buses stage carriages, as on date, do you know how difficult it is to ply a bus across State borders, across districts? Please. 9) All laws banning people from generating power using any RE sources especially running water in mountain areas need to be repealed. What is go of anybody if we are using sunlight or stream running water? And finally, most importantlly - 10) All laws about security guards everywhere maintaining registers to write and get stuff signed including phone numbers need to be cancelled. We can not move without being asked name address car mobile number.
