I have not written in quite some time... My life has been a whirlwind of things going on and emotions. My birthday was especially emotional. I longed to hear my mommas voice saying happy birthday baby girl, to see what cool and silly gifts Corey got for me, to have that deep birthday wish from my daddy. I dont know what to think really, except that I appreciate my wonderful, amazing friends and fam more than I could ever explain. I feel blessed in many ways. I will never go a day without thinking of my core four. I truly miss them every day. However, I must move forward. Not move on, but forward. I have been working like crazy trying to get my head above water. I really am sick of trying not to drowned. I will continue to doggy paddle as long as it takes. I will survive. I will flourish! I almost see the shore :). I decided last Sat I would splurge and spend $25 that I shouldnt and take my Aunty Sal to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (one of moms fav bands) concert in Loveland. Well, we got to the venue and went to purchase tickets. This guy walks up and asks if we needed 2 and we said yes. (Honestly, I was hoping for a scalper for cheeper tickets) The guy just gave us 2 free tickets! How fricken cool! Then the opening act was great and the Dirt Band itself was absolutely fabulous! The even played Ripplin Waters and ended with The Weight!! It was phenomenal! I danced my ass off! To top it off the merch guy gave me a free shirt and the lead singer Jeff hung out with us for a good 45 mins after. It was a truly amazing night! I just cant believe how wonderful it was. And, to think I wasnt going to go because I couldnt afford $25. Geeze. I am thankful we went, it was meant to be. I think it may have been my mommas birthday gift to me. :) I plan to share other goings on with you soon. I truly appreciate the love and support. Thank you. Love to you all! Love and light ~Hallie
