I have note done a weekly training tip in a while so here you go. Potty training your dog is necessary, why you ask? because one day your companion may find his/herself in your house, vehicle or anywhere else they would like to claim as there own. What I did with "Coal" was to limit his space to explore especially while he was not in the yard, by placing him in his cage or a room blocked off with a childs gate. I took him outside(leashed) at least every 30 min while. Once outside I would repeat use the bathroom over and over and over to start a verbal as well as visual familiarity between the word restroom and he being outside. Once he used the restroom, I would instantly reward him with praise and a treat. Remember owners this has to be done repeatly and accidence will happen be patient with your dog. I stress a leash be worn (Training Leash) for safety as well as establishment of your pack leader position especially while your dog is in there early puppy stages. I will go into leash training next week.
