I have noted an attack on Bram Hanekom with a claim that he is a Zimbabwean and therefore cant lead ANCYL post Congress. The person never objected his co-option to YCLSA and his appointment to NTT. There is never an objection to his activism but his leadership yes. I have also noted an attack on Thembinkosi Young-Blood Josopu on the basis that he was Azasco at Varsity and Azapo Youth Leader in 2009. There has never been an objection on his appointment to NTT and some have worked with him in Congress Movement programmes and even endorsed him as SAYC leadership from ANCYL but today, he cant be DSG of ANCYL. The question is, who must join the ANCYL and when we will accept their ability to lead? This is the worst form of ideological bankruptcy shame, in advancing leadership preference. Instead of arguing what YL needs post its disbanding, comrades have gone on a personal witch hunt that is opportunistic in its form and nature. These personality ventures will not heal the situation the league has found itself into. By the way, whose history do we raise and whose do we ignore? In fact, is history what we suppose to focus on or the future? This is similar to the denouncing of Mawethu Rune and Magasela Mzobe for having lead SASCO before YL at National level. This is the worst junk we can use in advancing opinions on leadership.
