I have noticed a lot of authentic Coach purses for sale on here and being a Coach officianado I want to share a couple ways to tell if a Coach bag is authentic. The Cs will always line up at every seam. Always ask for a picture of the bag at every angle, especially the bottom. They like to hide the flaws there. Coach will always use ykk zippers and they should slide smoothly and evenly. The stitching will be uniform and not sloppy or uneven. If the bag has feet there should be stitching around it and all stitches will be uniform. All leather should feel like butter and all leather used for edging will be one solid piece, not overlapping. Last but not least is the serial number. The tag on the inside should always contain letters and numbers corresponding to the factory it was produced in and the model of the bag. The serial number should be 8-12 characters long. If you are still unsure, ask the seller for the serial number and either call or email Coach. They will check the serial number to verify authenticity. I hope this helps any potential buyers looking to score a deal on a Coach bag for cheap! The following pictures are for reference only.
