I have noticed over the past few weeks that there is an increase in broken glass on the footpaths and walkways especially in Parkhall and the Steeple. I would ask those that are doing this deliberately, to refrain from littering areas where we walk, especially the elderly, where children are going to school and where residents walk their pets as this form of littering makes our estates untidy and unsafe. No doubt this will create some debate but the people ultimately responsible are those who by their actions, are making life difficult for all.
