I have noticed that many used car buyers (I was one too)have a tendency of thinking a used car has been AA inspected and approved so it was never in an accident. Well thats not true. AA/Dekra only checks if a car is roadworthy and gives the seller/dealer that certificate. I was helping a friend buy a car @Citton cars. All their cars are Dekra inspected. This car looked in mint condition until upon closer inspection I discovered that the bonnet had been taken off, then I checked the front bumper, it was well painted but could see its not original paintwork only with close inspection. Then I checked the A-Pillars and guess what? Both sides had been re-painted could see paint ran down and dried. Then I stopped checking any further. Buying a used car is very risky. Someone is gonna screwed over and buy that car.
