I have noticed that whenever I dont feel great, I sometimes am trying to fight what is happening around me. I am not letting things just happen. I am not going with the flow. I am trying to control my surroundings and/or people. This causes stress and discomfort as you cannot control anything external to you - and yet you try very hard to do so. LET GO! One way of getting on the right track is to let things happen and remove your need for the control. TRUST in your abilities to handle anything that comes your way. I am NOT talking about giving up or not doing what you need to do to advance your goals etc... I AM talking about placing worry aside and just being in the moment and see what comes up especially when there is nothing at that moment that needs addressing. Worry is 100% useless - you accomplish nothing by worrying. In fact worry will closes you off so that you cant see any resolution to a difficult situation. When you release the worry - because you have increased your trust - clarity will be available to you and the actions you then take will be way more productive and efficient. Meditation helps with being OPEN and ALLOWING as you can quietly meditate and focus on just opening yourself up and allowing everything to happen around you in a quiet gentle manner. Next time you catch yourself grasping for control or worrying about what MAY happen - just take 5 deep and slow breaths and say to yourself - I can let this be and just go with the flow. Be gentle with yourself and practice will make things easier over time.
