I have noticed within many, many, many of the questions I receive on a regular basis, the solution to the problem lies in emotional work. The trouble is, nobody wants to do the emotional work. Most people want a quick fix immediate solution, preferably in pill form, or at the very least in some other enjoyable form, and preferably that actually further masks the root of the problem rather than exposing it in the meantime. Doing the emotional work means getting down and dirty with the yucky undesirable emotions, the fear, pain, anger, abandonment, etc. etc. etc. It is hard work and its not enjoyable, but its the only real and lasting solution. We can cover stuff up as much as we want, but eventually it will resurface in another form. Thats just the lay of the land, the law of the land, and basically the way physical life works. The thing is, doing the emotional work is what establishes a profound sense of emotional sovereignty, self-reliance and self-responsibility, as well as self-belief, and a whole host of other things that we otherwise would not have access to. All of these privileges dont come cheap or easy, in fact they come at a high cost. The high cost is that we are required to drop anything and everything that doesnt serve the highest possible version of who we really are, and without complaining about it in the process. This price is simply too high for many, but these are the ones who will be left feeling left out when others are living their dreams.
