I have now,officially, survived my 1st day without my beautiful Derek Pressley. Its amazing that a heart can continue to beat, even after its broken... This 1st 24 hours, for the kids & I.. We ate, weve slept (some of us more than others), weve laughed, weve cried, were surrounded by love. We all slept in the living room. I cant sleep in the room that Derek & I shared, yet.. But piled in the living room w/kids & dachshunds was super sweet.
