I have observed that most Christians would give everything and anything to be in church on Sundays and also serve vigorously in their various departments yet, spend zero time with Hashem. All through the week, theyd pursue their careers/ jobs with every fibre in their bones without minding God. They would lie to get what they want/steal from people and/or public funds to attain their greed so as to occupy that front seat in church. They even steal husbands or wives, respectively. At a glance, one can easily sum up that they think God has made allowances for the lying, cheating, thieving, sinning believer as long as they repent of it before going to bed at night. No wonder their highest goal (if you ask them) would be to make heaven. REALLY...? Yea, their Target is to make heaven! What will they do in heaven when they get there? Big question, right? Maybe, theyd get induction from Hashem on how to live in His presence for all eternity. You can tell from their attitudes... theyre like any student who studies to attain certain degrees/qualifications for the sake of being a graduate yet, do not practice in that field of study. The average believer has lost the plot! God did not create us so we can live, work, go to church or socialize, attain our dreams and goals, keep 100 per cent church attendance and at the end make heaven. He did not create you to obey the pastors against His commands/ get committed in church so that at the end of all said and done we find ourselves in heaven. We were created SIMPLY to satisfy Hashem- TO BRING HIM PLEASURE.-(Revelation 4:11) It has become a chore for some believers to sit with Hashem alone for at least thirty seconds in worship or in meditation on His word. But it is easy to spend hours tidying up the four walls of a building called church so that the pastor would see and commend you for good works. This is what the preacher would call VANITY. I want to challenge someone today! Leave heaven out of your faith goals and please dont get me wrong, yet! People who are qualified for heaven as we know from the scriptures served God tenaciously. King David was said to have worshipped and prayed more than seven times in one day. We have to have lived a lifestyle that reflects heaven- purity. A lifestyle filled with the knowledge of Who Hashem is and a constant fellowship with Him. Live a life that will attract Gods holy presence around you at all times. Did you think that Moses, Abraham, the woman with the oil from the alabaster box had heaven in view while they lived selfless and dedicated lives for God? When you begin to have deep romance with God heaven becomes secondary issue in your life. Some people think that we can automatically become what we are not on earth soon as we get to heaven. Live every moment with God. Live for His pleasure. Satisfy Him at all times, not only on Sundays. Live as though you are already in heaven-for as his will is in heaven, so also is it on the earth. As believers, heaven is our definite goal but we need to live beyond that! God bless you. FIE
