I have often thought that if great numbers of the women of all - TopicsExpress

I have often thought that if great numbers of the women of all nations were to unite and lift their voices in the cause of peace, there would develop a worldwide will for peace which could save our civilization and avoid untold suffering, misery, plague, starvation, and the death of millions. President Hinckley In high school we were assigned to write a research paper on whether or not the USA should have used the hydrogen/atomic bomb in Japan. Its a question that visitors to that country are still asked by Japanese school children. I didnt really know what to answer in high school and I still dont know. Its a what if question. On one hand, it stopped the war from continuing indefinitely. Maybe it has stopped countries from using the bomb since. What if they held a war, and no one came? Is that from the 60s? It would take a lot of great leadership to organize men or women to unite in the cause of peace. Jesus words of comfort are even more meaningful when we consider the experience he had in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the Cross of Calvary, In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. Maybe when Satan is bound, and He whose right it is to reign is present with mankind on the earth, there will be peace in this world. President Hinckleys vision is well worth contemplating.
