I have on numerous times complained about the flood but the government promised to solve this problem by building a halfway retaining wall separating some houses from the river. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money because it did not solve the flood problem from the beginning . Today, my shelter was badly affected till we had no place to shift the dogs to safety because the whole town was affected. I lost everything in this flood. My gate, fencing and cages collapsed. What is the government doing about this ? What is our member of Parliament doing about this ? The havoc caused by flood is devastating and has affected the Rescued Ones badly. This is NOT a natural disaster. This is man made. We been experiencing violent floods in recent times and the government needs to mitigate this fast. Our Member of Parliament needs to step up to pursue this matter until its resolved once and for all. Today my Rescued Ones lives were in danger but Thank God they are all saved. If only the government had more reliable people to solve this rather than giving all the tenders to their bloody cronies to make more money, then they compromise on quality rather than life....Im like WTH is happening la... Im struggling here just to lose all my dogs ah ?
