I have one street in Hyde Park that is filled with friendly and feral cats and kittens. Limor has one street in Mattapan that has baby kittens and loads of cats roaming looking for food. These are just 2 of hundreds of streets in Boston that are like this. We are willing to trap and rescue as many as we can but we have no where for them to go and no one to pay for the spay and neuter. So what will happen. Besides the fact that they will all suffer from hunger and disease, most of the females if they survive will be pregnant in a short time after giving birth and just more and more cats will be out there suffering. What is the solution? Who is going to help us? We are not the only people out there going thru this. We are taking care of one or a few at a time, saving a little life, but what about the rest ? Band aid on Major surgery.
