I have only heard one Taylor Swift song in my entire life. And it doesn’t really matter to me if I ever hear any of her other songs either. But you can add me to the list of her millions of fans. Why you may ask? It’s because she is a wonderful example of how the power and actions of GRATITUDE can inspire and literally change lives. Talk about someone truly understanding gratitude and expressing it to others in such a beautiful way. So what is the big booming example I spoke of earlier in this post? It has to do with the single thing that every one of her fans in this video spent the most time weeping over. Did you catch it? Do you know what I’m talking about? It was the cards. The cards with handwritten notes to each of them. The cards that were filled with Taylor’s thoughtful and encouraging words. The cards filled with her GRATITUDE. Those cards represent that thing we all seek…CONNECTION. We seek to find others we can bond with deeply. We seek to become inspired by the actions and examples of others. We seek to feel a soulful companionship with others that share our dreams. CONNECTION. Taylor gave that wonderful gift to each of these fans by investing her own time, effort and care into picking up a pen. Writing out her gratitude with every thoughtful word. Gratitude inspires.
