I have only lived here 3 years, but I hope people continue to show community interest in the STL North Side/County once this all dies down. Honestly, no one gave two shits when I moved here. Because, before, it just was what it was: a place you dont go. Will the city change after the 24 news cycle ends, or will it be West (rich), East (dont go there), South (hipster/hoosier), North (dont go there), still? As a realist, Im going to guess we will settle into our old ways, sound and fury signifying nothing. Hoping to be proven wrong.
