I have only recently in the last week become an admin for this page. I have added a few names and I wish to say welcome to you all. Defy is about advocacy and well changing the education system to make it less difficult for dyslexics. This change will probably occur bit by bit but if we get the chance to make some real in roads we will take it. There are also advice - questions on this page. In the last few years I have wound down my full time employment and moved across to a private practice as a specialist teacher working with children struggling at school- some have formal diagnoses others do not. Like the other Defy Dsylexia people this is a purely voluntary role. It is the brainchild of Tracey Luckock who has worked closely with a tight group of the Brisbane Mums- we now have representatives across Australia. Check our website for more info.
