I have prayed for several months about an opportunity to work for a company that believes in Servant Leadership. I also had been praying about my health and my weight. The Lord gave me my new job at Parker University on 9/22/14. I was 186 lbs and was dealing with several health issues due to not eating properly, stress and ultimately not taking care of myself. Through research I learned about how my higher blood sugars, eating habits and antibiotics led me to having Candida fungus overgrowth in my system. Candida causes: Inability to lose weight, water retention, cravings for sweets, Beer belly, also called truncal obesity - excess weight centered around the abdomen, fatigue, frequent ear infections, tonsillitis, strep throat or bladder infections, especially if these infections were treated with antibiotics.
