I have presented your issue of recognition of IEI,IETE,AeSI,IME(I) - TopicsExpress

I have presented your issue of recognition of IEI,IETE,AeSI,IME(I) during meeting between US Trade and Business and PM Modi.I have been categorical all investment in India in Engineering Manufacturing sector is subject to economic stability, skill development of resources for US business and proper recognition of Engineering resources. In this situation I informed him that Private Engineering Colleges resources were not what overseas US business will be looking for.But we are interested in resources from Pioneer Institutes like Institution of Engineers (India),Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers ,The Aeronautical Society of India,Institution of Mechanical Engineers (India) etc who have been in existence since Independence of your country. Many of such Engineers from these Pioneer Institutes in Engineering have contributed actively as Scientist/Engineers in Indian Mars program and have contributed immensely to Indian economy. There fore for us to have confidence as US business we need resources from these Institutions who form the backbone of Engineering profession in India to have recognition from regulatory bodies AICTE for these resources.Only once Government creates ideal environment for US Business we should be looking forward to expansion of Engineering manufacturing sector in India. He was presented in best possible manner and apprised of situation due to MHRD recognition withdrawal and AICTE reluctance to issue fresh recognition.I had apprised him during meeting that similar programs in USA were recognized by ABET regulating body without any issue. His secretary has noted down the minutes of our meeting and it had provided me ideal platform to raise the issues where US Trade & Business meeting was going on with Indian delegation.,I had done everything which was possible from my side on this issue.May God bless you all. *** Copy of minutes of meeting is available with secretary**
