I have put a lot of thought into this whole situation and I have finally come to a conclusion of what I really want. And what I think would be fair. and here it is.. I am not trying to stay in the house I am in now with all my dogs necessarily.. if the law is the law thats fine, I get that.. So what I really want is the town to work with me, I have different reasons why i want to stay here for NOW, for example I havent found a place that I feel comfortable going to with all my dogs, also I am in the process of buying my first home here in Hyannis which makes it difficult to just move like that. among others like the fact that most of my clients are on the cape, people look forward to seeing me around town in HYANNIS, people come to Hyannis in hope to see my pack of friendly dogs walking around town so they can smile and pet all of them. So what I really want is to convince the town that they should talk to me and point me to what part of Barnstable I would possibly get a kennel license to do what I want to do. so far after 2 years begging them and have shut the doors on my face and treated me as a criminal, they sort make fun of the situation saying there are other places I can live meaning other towns/states. the fact is I am already here, and I am trying to do everything right, why wont they help by pointing me in the right direction? if the only issue they are having with me is the zoning issue and there are so many people that want me to stay including locals and tourists why do they still refuse to help? is it because I am Brazilian, is it my age? or is it because some of the officials dont like that I am gay? I dont know what else to think. Many have offered to start a petition and to protest infront of town hall where the media will come and the town will have to pay attention to what they are doing. I am working on a petition right now and gathering people who are willing to protest infront of town hall until they work with me so that I can move on with my life. Thank you for everyone that supports this. Please share with your friends and ask if they would sign to have me stay on cape cod. Otherwise I have no other option but to move out of state :( Thanks again.
