I have read somewhere in the recent past that the male human brain is not good at multi-tasking. Recently I had a nice little experience, so thinking of sharing it with people.... So it happened on a Saturday evening, I had to buy 5 things (Carrot, Green peas, A bottle of Dettol, bread and something else I cannot recall) from a nearby departmental store.. Some 500 meters walking distance.. Same time I was also on a conference and discussion was on a topic worthy of attention. So this is what happened... I walked all the way to the departmental store, got everything, and walked back home. Had to take the stairs up and down from my 7th floor apartment.. After reaching home Sushree asked me - Where is the green peas? I smiled and said, wow! I forgot. I thought I had everything... Let me go and get it. So off I went again.. And I got a packet of green peas... At the counter the lady stares at me and says - were you the one who had come 15 minutes back? Yes I said. You forgot to take the carrots. You paid for them, but forgot to collect them.. I thanked her profusely and set off back to home with the carrot and the green peas ensuring that both were present in the plastic bag I was carrying... :) And then after reaching home, Sushree asked me again... hey you forgot the Dettol also... Did you get it? :). I remembered to get it the next day and this time I ensured I was not in any call.
