I have read through some comments in the last few days and I would just like to share that I wouldnt encourage anyone to involve themselves in discussions with anyone looking to get a rise out of you. Most people that you find in constant conflict arent really in conflict with you but more so with themselves. There are too many belittling, condescending remarks thrown around too easily for my liking but I suppose it comes with the territory. I would like to suggest that we not focus on what separates us or divides us. Whatever you feed - grows. So focus on what unites us as a people and go from there. I have read almost every single supporter of the pipeline on this page mention that they arent exactly thrilled with our Lava Beds being disturbed but it is what it is so lets start there! Lets agree that we dont want our ancestral grave site to be disturbed and fight to make that be heard. Because we have it within our fingertips Right Now to prevent that from happening. No pipelines on Our Lava Bed Memorial Park. You dont have to be against the pipelines - just not on our Lava Beds!! Its simple when you think about it. We can split hairs later, right now time isnt on our side and we have it within our means to unite for a very deserving cause. I would like to hear the thoughts of those who are on the fence, or pro pipelines. What do you think about working together to prevent it from ripping through the sacred burial grounds of our ancestors? After that we can go our separate ways respectively and walk away knowing we each agreed on something - with the millions of things that can separate and divide - we have One thing in common. Lets focus on that for a little bit 😉
