I have really missed my mom lately. No particular reason, just because. One day, while shopping in Memphis together this song came on the radio and mom said this would be our song. I was probably 11 at the time and thought she was being overly emotional. We never heard the song again until the day I graduated high school... Mom has found the song and gave it to me with a letter she had written. That time we were both overly emotional. I have not heard this song since she was in the hospital and I cried and cried and cried. Today, while driving to Starbucks to get myself a pumpkin spice latte (yum) and a cake pop for a very proud 2 year old that pee peed in the potty this morning, this song came on the radio. It is not nor has it ever been a popular song. My Mama knew I needed to hear from her and sent me these beautiful lyrics. Oh how I miss her but today, I feel especially close to her!! Thanks for the reminder, mom :)
