I have recently been thinking about how life is just the art of paradox. See, the world is huge yet minuscule, and we are all the same yet entirely unique. The truth is alive and well, and so are lies - as are dreams and realities, both the harsh and the lovely. Positive and negative are complimentary forces. We can only see light because of its contrast to the darkness - though when the sun shines, we all cast our own shadows. The notion of balance requires playing with extremes, and brokenness can solidify unshakable strength.
