I have recently come to know that not all women want men to dedicate themselves to protecting folks, to defending others against dragons and monsters and killers, to providing for them and their children to the best of simple human ability, or doing the mundane daily tasks in their stead that give them more time to seek their own interests and happiness among other folk that better bring them fun, joy and happiness without any concern about the baited field in which they dance by the fire. Turns out, a person trying to be good, doing the right thing, or even being a petty dabbler in such nuances is, by default, the oppressive and controlling tyrant preventing others from going beyond the walls of the Keep, into the wild. And the only way that he can show that he is no such thing, by his honest intent - is to just stop doing the only thing he has ever known to do, the only thing he is best at, and has no idea what else there is to do on this blue green Earth. An ideology that physically painfully and fully goes against his own chemistry and biology. And which, in the name of the rose, must be surrendered to the world of chaos which is ever present.
