I have recently posted on a thread concerning our county hospitals. I take no issue with any of the three hospitals in Okanogan County, but I do take serious issue with the fact that without urgent action, I believe we may lose all three facilties. I, with educated and unemotional knowledge, see the complete demise of these hospitals without complete reorganization to a single central medical center. I see dire necessity to abandon protectionist feelings about saving all three hospitals and rather a very hasty effort to save any opportunity we have to salvage access to hospital care north of Wenatchee. Most just dont see that hospital care, as we have known it, is not dying, but may already may be extinct. I urge everyone who reads this to enter, very publicly, this discussion if having reasonable medical care is important to you!
